WHO WE ARE
Brief History of the Hub
AYP Tech Hub (Adolescents and Young People Tech Hub) was established in 2023 as a transformative initiative to address the digital divide and empower vulnerable adolescents in our community. Born out of a collaboration between CDC, IHVN and HTYF, the hub is growing from a small pilot project into a thriving center of digital excellence. Our mission is to provide a safe and inclusive space where young people can learn, innovate, and build the skills necessary to succeed in the digital economy.Key Values and Principles

WHAT WE DO
At AYP Tech Hub, we are dedicated to providing a comprehensive and enriching experience for our participants. Our main activities and programs are designed to equip young people with the skills and opportunities they need to thrive in today's digital world.
Access to Computers, Internet Connectivity, and Digital Skills Training
- We provide state-of-the-art computers and high-speed internet connectivity to ensure our participants have the tools they need to learn and grow.
- We offer a variety of courses in tech skills, soft skills, and general courses to cater to the diverse interests and needs of our participants.
Access to Sporting and Recreational Facilities
- We offer a variety of recreational activities including virtual reality experiences, table tennis, pool, ludo, monopoly, and more, to promote a well-rounded and engaging environment.
Access to Health Services
- We provide essential health services including psychosocial support, counseling, HIV Testing Services (HTS), and access to Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP).
